When you think of family camping holidays in the sun, you don’t necessarily think of Sweden, Norway, Finland and Denmark but these regions have a temperate summer climate and can offer a camping trip away from the crowds. Since 1994, Sweden has a remit to allow camping anywhere within certain provisions and Denmark has some of the best beaches in Northern Europe. If you want to be buy the water, Norway has many lakes to choose from with safe swimming but not necessarily Mediterranean water temperatures!
