It can be a real bind having to visit your troops around the world in various hotspots and flying in one of those darn troop transporters can just be such a drag. Well, not if you are Laura Bush! To make life a little more bearable for the First Lady, the Americans have done what only the Americans can do and put a luxury Airstream caravan in the back of a C17 military transporter.
This is one of a few Airstreams purchased by the US Government for transporting their senior leaders around the world wherever the US is involved in conflicts that Air Force One can’t visit. Makes perfect sense?
