New Starting Caravanning Website

The National Caravan Council has launched a new website that has information for those new to caravanning and also those who are already in the know.

The website, www.tourerinfo.co.uk, looks at where to buy touring caravans, inspiring places to visit and how eco-friendly a caravan holiday can be, while helping with practical information such as towing and finding a local dealer.

NCC Director of Communications, Louise Wood, speaking at the launch, said:

‘The idea of caravanning is really experiencing a revival. There is so much talk about how the credit crunch is biting and yet we know people really value their holidays. Caravanning is such a great solution – it’s good value, green and connects you with the great outdoors.

‘Young people are using campers and caravans as a base for adventure sports; people in their thirties and forties are finding it’s a great family holiday and older people see it as a fantastic way to get the most from their leisure time by exploring at home and abroad.’
