For the second year running the Swift Group have been awarded one of the top motorhome awards when they won the Motorhome Manufacturer of the year in the annual MMM magazine awards at the NEC.
This follows on from winning both the Motorhome of the Year and Low Profile of the Year awards at last year’s ceremony.
Announcing the awards, Managing Editor, Rob McDonnell said: “Not only have the Swift Group launched the widest range of new models on the new Fiat X2/50 cab onto the market this year, they have maintained a sustained new product launch programme that has been effectively communicated to both the media and the general public.”
As well as winning the Manufacturer of the Year title the Group’s Bessacarr E510 model won the silver award in the Low Profile category.
The awards come in a year when sales of the company’s Swift, Bessacarr and Ace ranges have reached all time record levels with the Group’s market share rising to around 25 per cent.
“It is always nice to receive awards, particularly form the team at MMM the motorhome markets leading magazine. This has been a tremendous year for the whole team at Swift, and with more new products on the horizon we are confident of maintaining this level of success in 2008,” Group Marketing Director Richard White commented.
