The resurgence in interest around the classic VW Camper has created a lot of new opportunities to sample the delights of holidaying in one of these quirky vans. I think Jamie Oliver has some responsibility for this craze with his luxury VW and trailer but I have to admit they do look like great fun for a short break - as long as you don’t need to get anywhere quickly but that is all part of the experience.

I entirely agree … classic vw camper’s are a great way to get out and about in a chilled out manner! Obviously I am biased as here at Outermotive in Warwick (junction 15, m40) we have a fleet of 5 campers which we hire out so that others can too enjoy a retro holiday in style and comfort! You really should give it a go! If you’re interested in buying one, you can always try before you buy and if you then love it as so many do, then we have a workshop to help with any maintenance - servicing or restoration needs, we sometimes have vw campers for sale too so if you’re interested in the lovely classic volkswagen camper vans take a look at our website for lots of pictures and information!

Hi,
I have visited ur site. Before the Eurovan was the VW bus, the first true minivan. Camper was my favorite. The last of the 6 volt models, I remember it fondly. It took me everywhere in my part of life.
