TV favourite Carol Smillie, will officially open The Scottish Caravan & Outdoor Leisure Show on February 5.
The show, Scotland’s only dedicated event for caravanners and those who love the outdoor life, is taking place at Glasgow’s SECC from 5 - 8 February 2009. Over 130 companies will be showcasing the latest caravans, motorhomes, parks and the largest collection of holiday homes in the UK, as well as outdoor leisure accessories, camping equipment and small boats. With more people choosing a stay-cation (a short-break or holiday in the UK), the organisers of are expecting more visitors than ever.
Commenting show organiser, Jamie Taylor said “With belts tightening across the country, more and more people are choosing to holiday in the UK, with many opting to enjoy the freedom and flexibility of caravanning. We are looking forward to Carol officially opening, what promises to be, a fabulous show.”
