Outdoor
lovers who have been inspired to consider a caravan, motorhome or camping
holiday this year can now snap up tickets for International Caravan & Motorhome
2009 at Birmingham’s NEC.
Taking place between 13 and 18 October, it is the biggest indoor caravan
and motorhome show in the UK and the starting place for outdoor adventures.
The halls will be packed with more inspiration from 300 exhibitors offering
new-comers and enthusiasts the best choice of motorhomes, caravans, holiday
homes, trailer tents, awnings and accessories, at the best possible prices.
70,000 people nationwide attend the show over six days, keen to explore all
the latest developments in the camping and caravanning world as well as the
exclusive offers and discounts.
Manufacturers will be launching their new 2010 product ranges with substantial
show discounts making it the perfect venue to see all the new models in one
place, to pick up a bargain and have your new caravan or motorhome ready
for the start of the 2010 season. Representatives from The Caravan Club,
The Camping and Caravanning Club, Practical Caravan Magazine and many
other experts will also be on hand to offer friendly advice on everything
from finding the perfect campsite, to sourcing specialist insurance and finance
packages.
Show Director Sam North said: “Every piece of research we’ve
done and we’ve seen highlights the fact that people who love the outdoors
adore the freedom that a caravan, motorhome or camping holiday offers. Whether
that’s because they enjoy canoeing, cycling, birdwatching, walking
or just spending time as a family together in the great outdoors. We’ve
packed our October show with lots of activities to inspire both new and experienced
campers. There is an onsite campsite run by The Caravan Club for anyone wanting
to stay over several days, the opportunity to talk to people who run international
campsites, a free crèche, free onsite parking, a cookery theatre and
opportunities to try towing or taking a practice drive in a Motorhome. It
will be a great day out for all the family.”
New for this year, visitors will be able to book a Freedom Pass which gives the holder unlimited access to the show for the full six days for just £22. Advance tickets for just one day are £12.95 and individual tickets bought on the day are £14.95. Children under sixteen are free.
