This is a well thought out and executed principle and design that copes easily with a wide range of conditions. Even in summer rain, the integral warmth of the jacket can be offset by ventilation. In colder conditions, the jacket works exceptionally well over a base layer alone or with an insulating layer as well. Packed with features, it proved to be a versatile high performer.
